Ship Chandling Coordinator
The Ship Chandling Coordinator is responsible for managing vessel supply operations, coordinating port services, and ensuring smooth ship turnaround in compliance with maritime regulations. This role supports commercial vessels by handling logistics, documentation, and supplier coordination across international ports.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate ship chandling services, including provisions, spare parts, and technical supplies
- Liaise with ship masters, port agents, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Ensure timely delivery of vessel requirements at port
- Manage documentation, invoices, and port-related records
- Ensure compliance with maritime, port, and safety regulations
- Support emergency and last-minute vessel supply requests
Required Qualifications
- Experience in ship chandling, maritime logistics, or port operations
- Strong understanding of vessel operations and port procedures
- Ability to coordinate multiple suppliers under time pressure
- Knowledge of maritime compliance and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international maritime environment
